Both books by the Paper Boat girls are in! The exhibition at the Craft Alliance, called “Let’s Talk About Love, Baby,” runs March 17th-April 24th. The books become permanent members of Chido Johnson’s Love Library.

Recent Work

February 23, 2011

Here’s a little book I put together for the exhibition at the Craft Alliance in St. Louis (in conjunction with the Southern Graphics Council Conference in March). As soon as Amy has some photos of hers, we will post them! For more photos of this project, see my post on Facebook.

Chido Johnson's Love Library

Look what Amy got me for the holidays! A Happy Tape dispenser! (Lordy, ain’t she purty?! And in my favorite color, too!) I seriously need to find a reason to use this tape…but for now I will just look at it and drool.

The Postcards Are In!

December 28, 2010

The postcards from the Ladies of Letterpress swap have finally arrived! Here are a few of my favorites, in no particular order.

What's not to like about an argyle cow?

My guess is it's a wood block printed on a flatbed press... The edition number on the side is pretty cool!

Check out the registration on this baby!

Louisiana: because it's paradisical.

How they managed that color gradation is a mystery to me... Hooray, Toronto!

Now, pay attention to this one, kids...

This is the backside: notice the blind stamping (it's a bat).

Last but not least: bat watching on the congress avenue bridge.

Mmm, that heavy stock is delicious. 220 lb???

"Relax. There's so much to be angry about."

And of course I still love our two, too!

Wish You Were Here!
